Yesterday I gave my first sewing lesson. Gabby came over and I taught her how to make a dress. We followed Alabama Chanin's Camisole Dress pattern. I showed Gabby how to trace the pattern, mark the pattern on the fabric, cut the fabric then pin it all together and sew. It only took us the afternoon with the two of us working on it. It was interesting teaching someone how to sew. especially since i taught myself how to do everything, i'm not sure if some of my ways are the correct ways. but the dress came together perfectly and i think she really likes it.
